Student Affairs staff are dedicated to evaluating and improving individual aspects of campus life that translate into a memorable collegiate journey starting from a student’s first steps on campus and even extending into the years beyond graduation.
Ten departments fall under the Student Affairs umbrella that collaborate to provide premier programs and opportunities that assist in building relationships and a sense of belonging.
• Communication - create and maintain communication with chapter advisors and (inter)national headquarters staff through email updates, meetings, trainings, and web communications and social media.
• Sorority and Fraternity Conduct - assist the Office of Student Conduct to coordinate all sorority and fraternity conduct investigations and ensure the process and potential sanctions are congruent with proper procedures.
• Collaboration - work collaboratively with various offices in Student Life to further the mission of the Office of Greek Life.
Ensure all published information is current, updated regularly, and grounded in best practices.
• Community Building - collaborate and serve as a resource for University of Missouri students, alumni, parents/families, faculty, staff, and administration on topics relating to sorority and fraternity life.
The Director of Greek Life is a full-time professional staff member that will work as part of a leadership team that provides support and guidance to sorority and fraternity chapters and governing councils in program development, risk management, and the promotion of leadership for community members.
